Christabel Buoro, a 21-year-old student from the University of Benin, reportedly committed suicide on Tuesday for unknown reasons, some say its because of failed love affair while her close friends suggest otherwise
The lifeless body of the 300-level medical laboratory was discovered Tuesday at his inn located at Uwaifo Lane 4, Newton Street, Ekosodin, a student community behind the university campus in Ugbowo.
According to unconfirmed reports, Christabel allegedly mixed an insecticide, commonly known as a Sniper, with a soda that she allegedly took.
An empty sachet of detergent was found inside the room.
A source in the complex told our correspondent that Christabel's corpse had been discovered later.

He wondered how "a little girl of this age will kill herself, all because of a boy".
"The police, who had come to evacuate the body, were very angry after reading aloud the suicide note she had left, saying she was about to commit suicide, because the guy she was Loved did not like him in return, and it was over with her.
"Thank God, she even left a note, otherwise her roommates would be in trouble because the investigation would have started from them.
When contacted, UNIBEN Public Relations Director Michael Osasuyi said that the institution was waiting to be informed of what had happened, as the incident did not take place on campus. .
State Police Public Affairs Officer DSP Chidi Nwanbuzor said, "The suicide note was inconsistent".
Nwanbuzor said police opened an investigation to find out what caused the dead to commit suicide.

He confirmed that the body had been found, but declined to say whether the autopsy would be performed or not.
He also rejected rumors that suspects were arrested in connection with the incident.
