3. Douglas College International Student Scholarships
Douglas college offers scholarships for undergraduate studies and this scholarship is available to international students. This scholarship covers up to CAD 7000 of the tuition fees. A maximum of 5 eligible recipients will be picked at every academic year.

4. University of Saskatchewan
The University of Saskatchewan offers scholarships to graduates. The type of scholarship is a fully funded variety for masters and PhD studies of international students. This scholarship provides an estimate of $20,000 for PhD and $16,000 for masters.
5. Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship
Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship Program 2022 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. Here, about 37 scholarships are allotted to undergraduate international students. This scholarship is expected to cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years.

Getting a students Visa
All the scholarships listed above are all available for students in Canada. Sometime before you apply for a scholarship, you will need to first get provisional admission into an undergraduate or graduate program in your chosen institute.
Once the admission is secured and you are applying for the scholarships you applied for, you can also go ahead with getting a student visa with which you can enter Canada.

- Acceptance or admission letter from a designated government approved institution in Canada.
- Valid passport or travel document that will enable you to return to your country after studying.
- Proof of funds, you need to be able to convince them that you are capable of independence while in Canada.
- A transcription of your previous results.
- Two recent passport-sized photograph with name and date at the back
- A letter of intent
- Medical report to show your health status.
- English proficiency result; this is to ascertain your fluency with the English language.

Steps to apply for a Canada Student Visa
Student Visa Application:
With the application letter from a government recognised institution, all you have to do is get started with getting your student visa also known as study permit.
A study permit is an authorization from the Canadian government that gives a foreigner the right to study in Canada. The next move is to go to the Citizenship and immigration Canada website (CIC) to begin your student visa application online.

Fill out the forms correctly and submit relevant documents online or send them via post to the Canadian immigration office where application is examined and either accepted or rejected.
Student visa application processing usually takes about 2 to 3 months.
Biometric appointment and Interview:
Depending on your nationality and country of origin you may or may not be asked for biometric but if your country falls into those countries that need biometric capturing, It means, you will have to visit a visa application centre to have your biometrics captured.
Note that your Canada visa expires 90 days after your studies are completed. You can stay back in Canada and travel and explore within that time.
