As you know, JAMB general cut off mark is always the basis of selection for further screening by a particular chosen school.However, while the JAMB Registrar tried to make the cut off reduced to 120 last year, many schools protested against it and some resulted to 180 and 200.
The good news here is that, despite many universities going contrary and fixing their own requirement score, there are some list Of Universities that accept 160 In JAMB.
Some of the big & prestigious Universities (like University of Lagos (UNILAG), University of NIgeria Nsukka(UNN), e.t.c) will not take candidates with any score lower than 200 for post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). but some recognized federal and state Universities will still accept 180 in Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) some even lower than 180(possibly 160).
